2. Shinedown. He's staring down the barrel of a .45, people, and swimming through the ashes of another life. Poor guy. Cool band, give them a listen.
i agree with that. i like them so far
On my recent 12 hour parking lot tour of I-94 towards Chicago I had that song screwed into my head. He's staring down the barrel of a 45...OKAY I GET IT! I GET IT! Repetitive play can kill any song.

Lyrics...? For what, pray tell...? Any requests? Oh, fuggit...here:
In a prehistoric, dried-up lake,
a million years after the last earthquake,
there lived a little girl who loved to bake--
The only thing she made was cake,
and all she used was salt!
That's all she had, it's not her fault...
Saline the Salt Lake Queen!
She used the rudimental substance for
an ingrediant that she could pour
into a chalice she carved out of stone,
her only friend, it was a big black crow
who flew with love,
he would fly high above,
look back at her below...
Oh Saline, only seventeen
swollen up with pride...
Oh Saline, under desert skies
She's a bromide...
She makes green fire
In a tunnel of thorns
and she's got yellow eyes...
She'd cook alone amid the brutal ruin;
It's hard to tell exactly what she's doin',
An incantation and a crow flew in--
oo-oo-oh--
And then she took a taste,
The black crow looked into her face--
Saline the Salt Lake Queen!
oo-oo-oh
oo-oo-oh
Oh Saline, The Desert Queen!
Oh Saline, only seventeen
swollen up with pride...
Oh Saline, under desert skies
She's a bromide...
She makes green fire
In a tunnel of thorns
and she's got yellow eyes...

wasn't Mirage an AutoBot at one point?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">...not sure of which side he was on, but was definitely a race car previously. The problem is, if Hasbro wants to keep the rights to the names, they have to use them...so there will always be occasionaly weirdness when they are trying to keep the rights to the old names. I bet they have a more traditional "Mirage" in mind for the near future.Originally posted by Peter Peeker:

Anyway, regardless of the name, a cool figure.
yeah, he was a race car. I'm sure he was a good guy.
but this was back in the 80's, eh, so...
I just saw Shinedown live this past Saturday and they put on a GREAT show.

...was also a Vehicon (baddie) race car in
"Beast Machines"-era. Hence my confusion regarding his loyalties. That was a neat little toy, too, actually...
I think I had the 1st one.
well, the 1st that was released over here, anyway.
I always like the little Bumblebee. the one that was 2 or 3" long.
and Soundwave, of course, and all the cassettes.
wish I still had those. a shop back in BC had a loose SW in the wiindow. I dashed in, asking how much, and the rat says "not for sale".
I was so tempted to pull an "Andy opening the coffee-shop" that night.
...my interest in TFs didn't really start until I was an adult, so I know more about the beasts and such...although, I did like Skywarp for being black and Windcharger (tiny red sports car, same size range as Bumblebee) just because.
Still, my all-time fave is probably Robots In Disguise Scourge...
